About Us

Magnolia Creek Stables is a dressage facility with 35 stalls, a brand new 20m x 60m indoor arena, a jump field and lots of turnout on 32.5 acres located in Pittstown, NJ. We also have foals and young imports for sale.

Magnolia Creek Stables is owned and operated by Meghan Richards. Meghan grew up in Morris County, NJ and rode in the Hunter/Jumper circuit. Meghan rode at Crewe Hill Stables for 15 years with trainer Nancy Maillet through the "Big Eq" on her horse, Majestic. Meghan continued her equitation career in the IHSA at Gettysburg College. She was the first rider from Gettysburg College to compete at IHSA Nationals in 2010.

In 2015, the Magnolia Creek Sport Horses breeding program was started specializing in Hunter Breeding. In 2018, Meghan moved to Dressage and has transitioned the breeding program to dressage as well. We now focus on producing top quality dressage foals for professionals and amateurs.

Meghan currently trains with Lauren Chumley on her imported young horses and recently achieved her Silver Medal. She aspires to get her gold medal. She currently competes on her 2015 KWPN gelding "Kingstown" (El Capone/ United) and has many young horses coming up. She has won multiple CDIs, Regional Championships, and qualified for the Festival of Champions the last two years.
